A modern 8-berth caravan on California Cliffs holiday park in Scratby, a short walk from the sandy beaches at California and Scratby. There's a double bedroom, two twin rooms and a sofa bed, so the whole family can stay together, plus a kitchen, dining area, one shower room and parking next to the caravan. Park passes open up the indoor and outdoor pools, play areas, go-karts, crazy golf and evening entertainment. A classic seaside break for families, with Great Yarmouth 10 minutes away.

The space

24 Bittern is a modern static caravan with room for the whole family and everything you need for a self-catering seaside break.

Living and dining
A bright, open-plan lounge with plenty of seating and a dining area. The sofa bed sleeps two more.

Kitchen
Equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster.

Bringing your dog
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at £25 per dog, up to 2 dogs per stay. The beach is a short walk away and has plenty of space for a good run.

The neighbourhood

California Cliffs is a Parkdean holiday park in Scratby, on the Norfolk coast just north of Great Yarmouth. The sandy beaches at California and Scratby are a short walk away.

Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile, with the Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre and piers, is about 10 minutes by car. The Norfolk Broads are close by for a day on the water, and the seal colony at Horsey Gap is a lovely trip in winter.

House rules

Check-in is from 4pm and checkout is by 10am.
A maximum of 8 guests can stay.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at £25 per dog, up to 2 dogs. Please keep them off beds and sofas and don't leave them alone in the caravan.
No smoking or vaping inside the caravan. Smoking inside will result in a deep-cleaning charge.
No parties or events. This is a family park.
Please keep to the park's quiet hours, 11pm to 8am.
Please bag all rubbish and take it to the park bins before you leave.

Guest access

You'll have the whole caravan and its parking space to yourselves. Check-in is self-service, so you can go straight to the caravan, and full check-in instructions are sent 24 hours before you arrive.

The park's facilities are run by Parkdean and need park passes, bought at reception. They include indoor and outdoor heated pools, play areas, a go-kart track, crazy golf, a multi-sports court, a bar and restaurant, a fish and chip shop, a Nisa shop, a launderette, an arcade and evening entertainment.

Interaction with guests

We'll give you your privacy, but we're always close by. 24 Bittern is looked after by the Xscape Staycations team, and we're available by message throughout your stay if you need anything at all. If something needs fixing, just let us know and we'll sort it as quickly as we can.

You'll receive your check-in instructions 24 hours before you arrive.

Other things to note

There is one shower room for up to 8 guests, so it's worth staggering showers in the morning.
Park facilities need passes, bought at reception. Opening times change through the season, so it's worth checking before you go.
This is a holiday caravan on a busy family park, so you may see and hear other holidaymakers.
The shower room has a bar of hand soap and travel-size shampoo and body wash. For a longer stay, you may want to bring your own as well.
