A practical three-bedroom, ground-floor flat in the centre of Lowestoft, with two king-size bedrooms and a single room, so up to 5 can stay. There's an open-plan lounge and dining room, a kitchen with dishwasher, a washing machine and one family bathroom with a bath and shower. The high street, shops and takeaways are on the doorstep and the beach is a short walk away. Well suited to work crews and contractors on weekly stays, and to friends or couples sharing.

The space

Coastal Gem is a ground-floor flat right in the middle of Lowestoft, set up for practical, comfortable stays whether you're here for work or a few days by the sea.

Living and dining
An open-plan lounge and dining room with a TV, plenty of seating and a table for meals together.

Kitchen
Equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There's also a washing machine, which is handy for work clothes on longer stays.

Bedroom 3: single bed
Three people can each have their own room, or up to five can stay if two share each king.

Bathroom
One family bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower.

Working stays
There's Wi-Fi and space to work on a laptop, and weekly and monthly stays are welcome.

Bed linen and towels. The bathroom has a bar of hand soap and travel-size shampoo and body wash to get you started.

The neighbourhood

Lowestoft is the UK's most easterly town, known for its sunrises and wide sandy beaches. From the flat, the high street's shops, cafés, takeaways and supermarkets are all a few minutes' walk away, and the seafront is a short walk or quick drive.

Oulton Broad, the gateway to the Broads, is a short drive away, and the town's industrial and port areas are easy to reach for anyone working locally.

House rules

Check-in is from 4pm and checkout is by 10am.
A maximum of 5 guests can stay.
Sorry, no pets.
No smoking or vaping inside the flat.
No parties or events.
Please keep noise down after 10pm. The flat is in a shared building with neighbours close by.

Guest access

You'll have the whole flat to yourselves. The communal entrance hallway is shared with other residents.

A member of our team will meet you at the flat to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival, We’ll be there to hand over the keys, show you around, and answer any questions you might have about the property or the local area.

Interaction with guests

We'll meet you on arrival, then leave you to settle in. Coastal Gem is looked after by the Xscape Staycations team, and we're available by message throughout your stay if you need anything at all. If something needs fixing, just let us know and we'll sort it as quickly as we can.

Other things to note

The flat is on the ground floor facing the high street, so you'll hear people passing by, especially on weekend evenings. If you're a light sleeper, it's worth bringing earplugs.
Parking is on the street rather than off-road. It's free, but spaces outside aren't guaranteed.
This is a practical town-centre base rather than a quiet seaside cottage, and it suits work stays and short breaks best.
