1 Bathroom A quiet two-bedroom chalet on the cliffs at Kessingland, right next to the beach. It sleeps 4 in a double room and a twin room, with an open-plan lounge and dining area, a kitchen for self-catering, a bathroom with shower over the bath, a garden with seating and parking on site. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the coast path starts almost on the doorstep. A peaceful base for couples, small families and anyone working in the area, with Southwold and Lowestoft a short drive away.
Swingles is a single-storey chalet in a peaceful clifftop spot on the edge of Kessingland, right next to the beach, with everything on one level.
Living and dining
An open-plan lounge with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a dining area. Large windows let in plenty of light and look out over the greenery around the chalet. There are board games and books for quieter evenings.
Kitchen
Equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. There's also a washing machine.

Bathroom
A bathroom with a shower over the bath, basin and WC.
Outside
A garden with outdoor seating for a morning coffee or an evening drink, and parking on site.

Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating. The bathroom has a bar of hand soap and travel-size shampoo and body wash to get you started.
Bringing your dog
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at £25 per dog, up to 2 dogs per stay. The beach is right next to the chalet, so early-morning walks along the shore are easy.
Kessingland is a coastal village between Lowestoft and Southwold, on the edge of the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape. The chalet sits on the cliffs right beside the beach, with a footpath down to the sand, which is quiet and good for long walks, and the Suffolk Coast Path runs along the shore.
The village has shops, pubs and places to eat. Africa Alive wildlife park is on the edge of the village, Lowestoft is about 10 minutes away by car, and Southwold is around 15 minutes' drive.
Check-in is from 4pm and checkout is by 10am.
A maximum of 4 guests can stay.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at £25 per dog, up to 2 dogs. Please keep them off beds and sofas and don't leave them alone in the chalet.
No smoking or vaping inside the chalet.
No parties or events.
Please keep noise down after 10pm, out of respect for our neighbours.
You'll have the whole chalet, the garden and the parking to yourselves. Check-in is self-service, and full check-in instructions are sent 24 hours before you arrive.
We'll give you your privacy, but we're always close by. Swingles is looked after by the Xscape Staycations team, and we're available by message throughout your stay if you need anything at all. If something needs fixing, just let us know and we'll sort it as quickly as we can.

Swingles is a modest, comfortable chalet rather than a luxury cottage, and it's ideal if you want somewhere quiet and practical by the coast.
The chalet is on the clifftop, so you reach the sand by a short footpath down from the cliff.
